Pre-K (Ages 4-5)
Must be 4 years old at the beginning of the school year. Our One-Day Pre-K Class emphasizes a balance between structured activities and free exploration, providing children with the skills they need for the next steps in their educational journey. With a focus on play-based learning, creativity, and positive social interaction, your child will have a fun, memorable, and enriching experience!
Daily schedule and Activities:
- Morning Circle Time: Students begin the day by gathering together for a welcoming circle. Here, they will sing songs, discuss the calendar, and participate in short, interactive activities that foster language development and group interaction. ASL will be introduced throughout the class.
- Story Time: A short story will be read aloud, encouraging listening skills, comprehension, and the love of reading. Children are invited to ask questions, share ideas, and make connections to their own lives.
- Outdoor Play: Time for free play in a safe outdoor space allows children to develop physical coordination, teamwork, and an appreciation for nature.
- Snack & Socializing: During snack time, students will practice self-regulation and manners while enjoying healthy snacks with their peers, offering a relaxed setting to build social skills.
- Learning Centers: Children will rotate between various learning centers, such as sensory tables, puzzles, or literacy stations, where they can explore topics like numbers, letters, shapes, and colors through hands-on activities.

TK Adventure Day! (Age 5)
Perfect for getting ready for kindergarten or families looking for a one-day kindergarten option, this class bridges the gap between early childhood and formal schooling with a day full of purposeful play and discovery! Through fine motor activities like cutting, coloring, and hands-on manipulatives, students strengthen essential pre-writing and coordination skills. Our Two-Day Kindergarten program is designed to foster a love of learning in young children while providing a nurturing and stimulating environment. This class meets twice a week and is ideal for families seeking a part-time, yet enriching, educational experience for their child. Course Description:
The Elementary American Sign Language (ASL) class for grades 4-5 is designed to introduce young learners to the fundamentals of ASL, fostering communication skills in a fun, interactive, and inclusive environment. Description: Explore Early American History from 1400 to the mid-1800s through the engaging lens of key historical figures. Class: LEGO Education Simple Machines
Description: Students in grades 2 through 5 will engage in a dynamic STEM education experience using Lego Education’s Simple Machines curriculum. Throughout the course, they will receive explicit instruction, learning vocabulary, and facing challenges centered around fundamental simple machines, including gears, levers, wheel and axel, and pulleys. In addition to applying scientific and engineering processes, students will explore mathematical principles, measurement techniques, data recording, learning physical science and physics concepts. The curriculum incorporates activities aimed at problem-solving, where students will work collaboratively to address specific challenges. While the class is focused and instructional, students will participate in open ended culminating activities for each topic to challenge the students to implement the skills and knowledge that they gained through the guided activities. Students will solve targeted problems while also developing essential skills such as listening, communication, and teamwork as they take turns directing each other in the construction of back to back challenges. Although there will be limited opportunities for open-ended Lego play, creative freedom will be integrated into the lessons, ensuring an engaging and productive learning environment.
